Following the success of its first online training seminar, "Introduction to Sprinklers", EFSN is pleased to announce the second in the first series of seven seminars. This seminar will be given on Monday, 13th October, starting at 15:00 Central European Time (14:00 UK time).

The title of the second seminar is "Sprinkler System Hydraulics". It will be given by Peter Thomas of Tyco, who is a long-standing member of the NFPA 13 committee and many other sprinkler standards committees.

The seminar will assist designers, fire safety officials and others who wish to acquire an understanding of the basic principles of sprinkler system hydraulics. Details of the seminar and instructions to register and pay using a credit card are on www.eurosprinkler.org.

The additional five seminars in this series are: Commodity Classification on 10th November, General Storage on 8th December, ESFR Sprinkler Systems on 12th January 2009, Design of Sprinkler Systems in Earthquake Zones on 9th February 2009 and High-Rise Fire Sprinkler Protection on 9th March 2009.
